India West—$5,000

Six sewing machines, distributed to two divisions, will be used for sewing programs for local women.

India West—$18,100

A new elevator was installed at Territorial Headquarters. It has helped staff as well as people living in the building, who had been climbing four floors to reach their homes.

India South East—$20,000

This new center in Muttom will be used for seminars and conferences by The Salvation Army and other groups.

Southern Africa—$20,000

The territory has purchased and restored a new hall for the Athlone Corps.

Pakistan—$15,000

Major Jackson Ghulam, administrator of the Azam Town Secondary School, discusses upcoming structural renovations with Lt. Colonel Rebecca Yousaf, regional director of Women’s Ministries. The grant has allowed repairs to the school’s roof and upper walls; falling plaster from them has been a danger to students and staff.

Congo (Brazzaville)—$5,000

The territory held a series of training seminars on administrative skills and women’s leadership roles in ministry.

Bangladesh—$7,200

The commanding officer tests a new tube well that will provide fresh water for the Rajapur Corps.
